  There is a few real treasures. I love romanesque and they have the capitals from the cloister of Pamplona's old cathedral. They are a fantastic work. Some roman mosaics and romanesque frescoes.

  Much better than expected; very courteous staff and interesting (if modest) collection. Four floors showing the permanent collection, top (modern) to bottom (pre-Roman). Could use English translations of signs and wall explanations, but for the price (2 euros), not a big deal. And yes, there's a nice Goya.

  Great collection of Roman mosaicos and other finds. The lighting of the objects was excellent. Really enjoyed our visit.

  This is excellent museum of medieval Navarese culture where you can observe beautiful examples of medieval frescoes, icons, statues. Alas, grand bassinet helmet made in first quarter of XV century and received from local Cathedral is in the storage room instead of permanent exhibition. It was the greatest disappointment of 2012. Visitors are allowed to take non commercial photo without flash light. You need to buy a ticket to get in.

  This museum has a pretty good size collection and I appreciate how it is organized floor by floor through the ages--the Romanesque was probably my favorite with a lot of architectural features like incredibly ornate column capitals from the 11th and 12th centuries. There are also a lot of very interesting and well-preserved mosaic works. I appreciate how much of it relates to the local history with items the cathedral and from Tudela as well. I'll definitely try and visit again. There are also some nice vistas out over that area of Pamplona.
